✨Why I Started Ivory Muse✨

I’ve been asked this question more times than I can count: “What made you start Ivory Muse?”
The truth is, it didn’t happen overnight. It grew from a quiet frustration I felt every single summer — standing in front of my closet, surrounded by clothes that were either too stiff, too revealing, too hot, or just… not me.
I wanted pieces that made me feel beautiful without trying so hard. Dresses that moved with me on breezy beach days. Swimwear that actually flattered my body instead of fighting it. Activewear I could wear from a morning walk straight into lunch with friends — without feeling like I was in gym clothes all day.
For years I searched for that perfect balance: effortless, feminine, comfortable, and elevated. Something soft yet strong. Romantic but practical. I wanted clothing that celebrated real life — the golden-hour dinners, the spontaneous road trips, the lazy pool days, and the busy mornings chasing sun and joy.
Nothing quite hit the mark.
So one day I decided to create it myself.
Ivory Muse was born from that desire — to build a brand that offers women (and especially busy, sun-loving women like me) clothing that feels like a warm hug from summer itself. Pieces that are thoughtfully designed with soft, breathable fabrics, flattering cuts, and details that make you feel put-together even on the most relaxed days.
I wanted every dress, every swimsuit, every breezy set to remind the woman wearing it: You don’t have to choose between comfort and beauty. You can have both.
Starting this brand has been one of the most rewarding (and sometimes terrifying) things I’ve ever done. There have been late nights sketching ideas, endless fabric samples, moments of doubt, and then those beautiful “this is why” moments when a customer tells me how confident she felt in one of our dresses on her vacation.
Ivory Muse is more than just clothes. It’s my love letter to slow, sunny living. To feeling good in your skin. To dressing for the life you actually live — full of light, movement, and little moments of joy.
